I am a seasoned teacher and ensemble director with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. Direct and produce two theatre productions per year. Arrange and teach field show music to football half-time show band. Manage departmental inventories, budgets, and equipment. Work with parent booster groups to provide additional opportunities to students.

Learned and applied aspects of the Kodály Method within general music classes grades K-5. Built upon Kodály experience from earlier placement. Taught recorder playing to 4th-grade.
Bernard Gardzalla, Co-operating Teacher
Instructed classes of 9-12 grade students in sight-singing using principles of the Kodály Method. Rehearsed choral students with focus on vocal technique, pitch accuracy, and musicianship. Supported students with piano accompaniment and part-playing.

Studied choral singing in the Anglican tradition in the King’s College Course with world-renowned directors, composers, and organists. Performed within large, accompanied and smaller, auditioned, a cappella ensembles.
